Mix spooky beats in Sprunkybox, combine felt monsters, unlock 19 secret songs, and switch to Dark Mode for eerie sounds and Halloween surprises after dark!
Is it possible to create a creepy song without knowing how to play an instrument? Sprunkybox lets you explore this possibility on a stage of quirky felt creatures. It combines the act of making sounds with a Halloween theme. There are pumpkins, nite skies and quirky characters that make the game feel fun and mysterious.
You have 20 characters to choose from, each of which brings a particular musical element to the table, such as drum beats, bass lines, melodies, vocals or spooky sound effects. Your job is to choose your cast, place them on stage, and try out different combinations. There are even secret tracks hidden behind the scenes, waiting to be discovered.
The stage in Sprunkybox offers seven slots where you can place your characters. You do not play a pre-set score, instead you get to pick who plays and what sounds get mixed in.
One character might provide a rhythmic foundation, while another adds a melody or vocals. As you combine them, you’ll hear how the layers of sound blend together, all while watching each creature perform its own unique dance. Swapping out even a single character can completely shift the mood of the performance.
Sprunkybox doesn’t lock you into a fixed lineup. Three core functions allow you to tweak your mix directly on stage:

Beyond free-form music mixing, the game features 19 secret tracks. Experimentation and keen observation play a big part in the experience, as you unlock them with specific character combinations.
Try Different Character Groups
Start by pairing characters, then expand to groups of three or four. Certain unique combinations can reveal tracks not found in the standard lineup.
Look for Clues on Stage
Keep an eye out for badges, echoing sounds, and character silhouettes—these are all valuable hints. Pay attention to them while experimenting to discover the right combinations.
Fill All Seven Slots
Place all seven characters on stage to uncover a special track. Don’t forget to check the Music Book to keep track of the songs you’ve discovered across both Light and Dark modes.
The "Black" character is the key to unlocking Dark Mode. Once placed on stage, the cheerful setting transforms: lightning flashes, thunder rumbles, glowing red eyes appear, and shadows envelop the scene.
It’s not just the esthetics. In “Phase 2”, the characters get new sounds, giving your mix a darker, more ominous tone. You can continue to experiment with different lineups and discover new combinations within this entirely different atmosphere.
If you want a more playful, light-hearted feel, you can switch back to Light Mode. The two modes offer distinct performance styles, allowing you to tailor the stage’s atmosphere to your liking.
